Our home curriculum
Our home curriculum weaves many elements that are crucial to a quality early childhood program:
- suitable for all learning style preferences (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic)
- covers many areas of multiple intelligence
- addresses aspects of a child's developmental domains (Cognitive, physical, social and emotional)
- encompasses key subject areas of literacy, math, science, social studies, music and art
- caters to the interests of children, as it helps them to connect what they know and learn new information into meaningful context
- covers the two areas which will be most effective if taught, reinforced and modeled at home; character development and habits training
Additionally, the curriculum uses a literature-based approach where children can make the emotional connections through their active engagement of concepts introduced through selected books. These connections made will facilitate the child's attention span, memory, processing skills, and understanding.
We are also firm believers of the learning through play approach. Play is central to our curriculum, as it is essential for optimal development and effective learning in young children.
